~8-5-05~ TIRED!!!!!!!

i have been up since 5:30am!!!!!!!!!! why??????????????


i have no clue why i woke up in the first damn place. then every time i would open my eyes i would see flashes of light, so then i had to keep opening them and closing them to see if i was seeing things. finally, i heard DISTANT rumbling, so i was like FUCK. then i hear bob go, what? i said it is about to storm. the damn blower to that $150 jumpy thing i bought for my child who has played on it for about 10 minutes total is out there and it probably shouldn't be getting wet.

bob said he would go get it and he did. by this time you could start to hear that it was actually thunder. so i said FUCK again. bob said, what? i guarantee clay is going to get woke up by the thunder. (which by the way my child did not end up falling asleep last night til almost 11pm!!!!! and that is after about 20 trips for me UP the steps to put him back in bed!!)

sure enough 6am rolls in, with MUCH thunder, and he comes storming in...MOM!!!!

so i put him in bed with us. he is laying there but not being too still. i knew it was about time for bob to get up, and i knew if that happened he, clay, would definitely be UP for the day. so i took him back in his room and laid with him. it kept on storming, and he finally had enough of laying in bed at about 7:30am, so we were up....or should i say he was. i tried to get back on the couch for some shut eye, but read the previous posts, you know how that goes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i swear to god it did not stop storming til about 10am!!!!! that was one damn long ass storm!!!


we are supposed to go to the rib thing tonight. it is SUPPOSED to clear up, even though now, at 1:30pm, it still looks lousy out. but at leat it is only 71 degrees!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!! it is still a bit humid, but gotta love temperatures when they are well below 80!!!!! so i guess we will see when bob gets home if we go or not. i'd really rather not cause i am TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but if i try and come between the man and his ribs, it will just be grief, so i might as well just suck it up and go!


by the way my child has been asleep since 1pm! that is the ONLY good thing about being up since 6am! but i still can't get sleep!!!!!!!!!


well now i am off to balance my checkbook to see if we even have any money to go get ribs!
