~8-31-04~ Poor Bob..and a big long post to follow

well today is bob's birthday (tuesday), to me it is technically still monday, since i haven't been to bed yet. anyways. he worked a double today and now he has to work another one tomorrow, on his birthday!!!!! i feel bad for him. he got to bed today after 5 this afternoon and then i had to get him up at 10. i mean i rarely get more than 5 hours of sleep, but i don't have to leave the house and then go to do work for 16 hours! especially on my birthday!

hopefully while clay is napping tomorrow, maybe i can come up with something cute for his birthday. i can't do much since he will have to come home and go straight to bed, but maybe i'll make him some cute cards and such for him. i got him THIS for his present. well i can't link it so i will just have to add the picture of it. he already lost his wedding ring. it has been gone for quite some time now, which i knew it would be, so we just got him something cheap. i hated spending the money on this one, but i had a big discussion with him about "how the ring is a symbol of our marriage and our love and the way he takes care of it symbolizes his feelings for me and our marriage, blah, blah, blah........" so hopefully that will work and he will actually take care of this one. i will be highly pissed if he loses it!

my new shows have started already! woo-hoo! except tomorrow i have 3 things to tape at the same time and i don't know how i am oing to do it.

fear factor was pretty cool. i'm just glad those asshole people lost early on, i hated them when they were originally on. last comic standing was ok. i don't like how 1 person from each team is going to be eliminated each week though. i loved almost everyone from the 1st season, and of course all of them were up tonight, which means one of them are going home tomorrow. i didn't know what was up with ralphie. i thought it was going to be a joke, not that his father dying would be funny, but that was sad watching him do that set for his father. he is one of my favorites, he should have won the show he was on 1st season!!!! as for season 2 people, the only ones i like are that italian girl, alfonzo, and john heffron. i cannot, CANNOT stand that todd glass guy!!! who in the hell thinks he is funny?! i guess the same people that though dat was funny!

i'm really pissed off at nbc, i went to vote and the online voting is all screwed up. which i don't think is very fair! so i didn't get to vote!!

dr phil's new season started today and i didn't know it til after it was over, damn it!!!! i need some new programming on during the day i am getting sick of watching the same freaking cartoon's over and over.......which brings me to my rant on these kid's programs.

really i don't know why i watch this stuff. clay barely glances at the damn thing, so I am the only one sitting there watching this crap! and they are all starting to be repeats!!!!

my biggest peeve is maisy. now this isn't going to be politically correct here, but this is my blog, so i can say what i want.

i think maisy and all of her friends are a bunch of retards living in some half-way house-ish community! i cannot, CANNOT stand their "voices" or should i say the noises that they make. they litterally freak my shit out! it gives me chills and i cringe. so why do i watch, cause sometimes clay actually watches it for a few minutes at a time, plus i hate it less than everything else on at that time. anyways, for those of you who watch maisy. are they animals, children or adults?!?! i know, i already answered that they are mentally challanged animals. that is the only explination i can come up with. i mean they could be kids, they do dumb shit like, going out and playing in the rain and mud, not that that is dumb, but adults don't do that. they play hide and seek, maisy has to sleep with her panda, and the other day they were running around the house with the lights out playing with a flashlight! what the fuck?! kids right?! well i don't know cause if they are kids, where are their parents? why was masy cooking by herself the other day. then she was recently working in a barn, and on a tractor by her self plowing a field. then her and charlie were out on a boat the other day by themselves. so adults?!?! well now, it was charlie's birthday and know what he got? from cyril a flashlight (wtf?!) from that god awful chicken, a sweater, from eddie a sailboat, and from maisy an umbrella (wtff!!). and he was all like "UHH UHH UHH" about everything, so then they had to go outside and play with the umbrella like it was the greatest thing in the world, so then he was chasing clouds, standing under them waiting for rain.......good god!!!!!

but what gets me the most is i hate, and it really disturbs me, to see maisy naked!! granted she is a mouse and all, but i do not want to see this mouse take off her clothes, then see here in her undershirt and panties, then take those off and be completely naked!!! am i wrong here?! i think it is kind of fucked up for kids to see that as well. then the other day the damn chicken came over and took her clothes off and jumped in the tub with masy!!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell is that all about?!?!?!?! then they all got naked in front of each other changing into swim suits! like most tv shows, we didn't see charlie's package (he's a guy), but he was right there in the room with them when they all changed!! once again, that isn't adult behavior! and why did maisy have to keep getting out of the tub naked to answer the door, if she was a child, where is the parents?!?! i keep hoping that someday chrlie's crockidile instinct is going to kick in and he is oing to go crazy and eat maisy and the chicken, and the squirrel....then ihope eddie the elephant steps on charlie!! how great would that be?! you can check them out HERE to see what i am talking about.

ok,ok........i know it is a cartoon!!!!!! i am probably making too much out of it, but i have seen maisy (and friends) naked one too many times!! i wish i could find some sounds bites for you all or some pics, so you all know what i am talking about. but i watch it every day!!

i hated oobie at first, but he grew on me. so did the tweenies, then they switched them to like 6am, so needless to say we don't watch them anymore!! we also like franklin and dora.

on to others i hate. i tried to watch the teletubbies once, didn't even get all the way through it. what the fuck is that all about?! i didn't even give clay a chance to like that, cause we sure weren't watching that messed up shit!!

same with that new boobah whacked shit. this is WORSE than the teletubbies! who let's there kids watch this stuff?!?! i know, you do molly!

barney actually isn't that bad. the kids that can't act on the show bother me more than barney does. i just don't watch, cause something else i like better is on at that time.

i just love, love, love blue's clues! i like joe better than steve, but any will do, as long as i haven't seen them like 100 times already!!!!!! which i think i have seen them all even though i have only been watching for 2 years!

noggin is getting really bad about showing the same ones all the time, and saturday and sunday, they just replay what was shown like friday!!!!! now i know kids don't know the difference, but they should know that parents are probably watching too, i can't stand that shit. and weekends are really the suck! all the other kiddie channels have older kid cartoons on since the kids aren't in school, and pbs, doesn't have kids stuff on at all. so i am stuck with noggin and the same stuff i already seen a few days prior!

i tried watching that new show on nickelodian, lazytown. oh hell no. i can't get into that. those freaky looking puppet things give me the creeps! that gymnist dude is annoying, even though i think he may be hot without that damn stupid mustache, but he jumps around too much for me. the little girl with the pink hair is cute, but the show just bothers me, so i can't watch. thank goodness clay didn't even glance at the tv when it was on.

he does love sesame street, which is great, cause i love it as well, except for the same bitch as the others......REPEATS!!!!!!!!! come on people! you have got to make enough money off sales of the damn merchandise to make some new frickin episodes!!!!! i beg you!!!!!!!!!!!

hhmmm, what else do i hate.......i hate bob the builder, he is too freaking cheery, and i want to draw and quarter that fuckin spud. he is an asshole and i can't believe noone kicks the shit out of him. i hate watching the show cause i always know he is going to come along and fuck something up. its like some brat kid, who's parent never punishes them for doing wrong!

i also hate oswald. granted i never watched that much but that stupid ass flower reminds me of that spud from bob, and oswald bothers me in general...and sqiggy voicing that one thing.....i just don't like it.

we used to watch a bunch of different stuff, but i got lazy switching stations all the time, so now it is usually on noggin all day. we used to watch rollie pollie ollie on disney, i liked that. also i love dexter's lab, ed, edd and eddie, stanley, dragon tales, between the lions, reading rainbow, and recess. those are all on later in the day/night though, and after clay's nap, it is time for "my" tv shows, so we haven't watched those much lately. i also hate disney channel and nick. cause of all the damn commercials. just give me nogging with no commercials.....at least nick jr got rid of that damn zach and what's her name. at least i think they did. i haven't watched it lately, but last time we did, i didn't see them, thank goodness! they drove me insane!

can you tell i watch too much children's programming?! i guess tv in general, but oh well.

there you have it, a condensed (yes, it is condensed!!) rant about MY kiddie tv viewing. i'm so pathetic. and just think bob gets to hear about this all the time. lucky you only get to read it once (maybe)!!! haha!!!
