~1-6-05~ WHY ME?!?!

my pathetic post will follow, i just have to run off about a few things first.

the door to my computer room is cracked open a bit and i look out to 2 glowing balls fixed on me. my cat is sitting on the banister of the steps staring, eyes all aglow. how spooky! see, the name!!! he is ALWAYS staring at me!!!!! he will come down after i put clay to sleep and either sit on the coffee table, on the couch, on the chair....even from across the room, and he will have this non-blinking, non moving stare on me. it really creeps me out! i think he is just a pig and wants fed, cause as soon as i move he is up running under my feet to the kitchen. he is odd.

on to a bitch. something happened to my cable. i was so pissed! i didn't get my nap today, cause i had to call the cable company, and as i complained about before, you sit on hold for at least a half hour, before you even speak to a real human. so she did whatever and said she couldn't fix it from there and they would have to send out a tech. i was SHOCKED when she said they could be here tomorrow. thank ya jesus, cause you all know me and i cannot go without tv!!!!!!! tonight was bad enough having to watch a barely there, snow filled picture!!!! so i didn't get to watch the swimsuit model thing, or that 70's show.

anyways, so i thought it was my box (AGAIN) but it was weird, cause all the program info and the guide was coming up, i just couldn't get a picture. that was just odd. and my computer worked fine, and the tv in teh computer room fine. the tv in the bedroom fine, at least i thought, til i went in to watch my soap. at least it works, unlike downstairs, but it too is all snowy. so that has me just stumped!! why would the computer room be fine and the others not. i went down and check out the connections, and they are all conneted through the same splitter, so i don't know why 2 would be messed up and one not. and it isn't even the box, i disconnected it and ran the cable straight through my vcr and it still is crappy. oh well, hopefully it'll be fixed tomorrow.....oh and of course the only time the had was 12-2, which is when i am trying to put clay down, plus sleeping myself. lovely! hopefully he is like my grandfather and he gets here at 12!! then gone by 1.

secondly, why is my child still awake?! i put him down about 9:30!! i just went in and laid him back down. he was throwing everything out of his bed. the past few nights, i have had to go back in there a second time. i don't know what that is all about. at least he doesn't give me a hard time, and he is usually out after i leave.

he peed in the potty again tonight. he always does it before bed time. he is so cute! maybe i will start trying it every night before bed.

on to my original post......~1-6-05~ I'm a LAZY cow!!!!

I was actually going to post this the other day, but then I got too lazy to do so! HA!!

I then read NINE’s lastest post and it made me realize how truly lazy I am. And YES I am!

This is why I seriously think I need to get on speed. I need to get some sort of energy to do something. And I need a big dose of it where I JUST CAN’T SIT STILL, and that I have to get up and do something. That is what I need!!!!!!!!!!!! Is there such a pill?!? A legal one I should add. I was so in awe watching desperate housewives, and I actually started wondering if I knew anyone who had some damn ADD medicine I could take. Yes, I am pathetic! I will give you all examples.

My son has these god awful magnets on the fridge. Well, they NEVER stay on the fridge. I will step over, kick, slide and almost fall on them daily, but do I ever reach down and pick them up. NO!!!!!!!! WHY?????????????

There is some sort of plastic something on my bedroom floor, I think it is from the new windows. I trip on that bitch everytime I go into bed. Is it still laying there right now. YEP!!!!!! WHY?????????????????

There are clean dishes on my drain board. Clean cause I emptied the dishwasher. WHY are they not in the cupboard where they belong?!?! It is like a few more inches and up to put them away, but I just set them on the drain board?!

This is why my house is a mess. Something gets put where it doesn’t belong. And then it stays there…..just collecting more and more. WHY??????????????

I was just trying to think back to all the other places that I lived and wondered if they at all looked the state of my house today. And I really don’t think so. I never could not, physically, REALLY, not walk into a room cause there was junk everywhere!! I never had to trample over clothes laying all over my bedroom floor. (this I do attribute to the unbelievable lack of closet space in this house, and the fact I have WAY too many clothes).

The one thing I actually don’t do, but bob does and it drives me nuts, is put trash on the table when the trash is like a step away from the table. I guess I have a lot of nerve getting mad at him……….but take all I said above and multiply it by 100 for him!!

Maybe it is just him…..i’ll blame it all on him! Haha!! But no, the past few places I lived, he lived too, so I don’t know what the hell the problem is. I’m trying to remember if it was like this before clay. Not that I actually cleaned more or anything before him…but what in the world could have changed?!

I’m just pathetic! And believe it or not I am sooooooo ready for a change. I am a SERIOUS pack rat….the other night I actually imagine myself putting a lot of my clothes and other junk on ebay. Just thinking that is actually a huge step for me.
One thing I do know for sure is that most of this stuff is NOT coming when I move. I am going insane looking at it all and thinking about what is in the basement!

I also PROMISE, that my new house will not ever, and I mean EVER look like this place does. It won’t even start to get that way. I am just tired of it all.

**one random thought that somehow just popped in my head, from my comment to NINE’s post and the precooked bacon…….i tried turkey bacon yesterday, not pre cooked, I cooked it, but I was not loving it. Yes, I sure ate a few pieces, and it is not awful, but it sure doesn’t taste like bacon!

also, do you all brush your teeth twice a day?? well i never knew that was a big must do. i was never taught that as a child. we brushed out teeth in the morning when we got up. honestly, not until somewhat recently did i learn about the twice a day thing. and i wonder why my teeth are so awful!

anyways, after my horrifying ordeal with the dentist, that i posted about previously, i vowed to myself that i would strictly follow that twice a day thing, and maybe even throw in a third, cause i do not ever, EVER want to go through that again. do you think i have. hell no! maybe for the first few weeks after that happend. then no. and the SAD part. i will think about it before i go to bed. like now, i have to pass the bathroom to get to the bedroom, but i am too lazy to make an extra stop and brush for 2 minutes! so pathetic!!! actually i don't like brushing before i go to bed. it makes my mouth sooooooooooooooooooo dry. i don't know if it is the tooth paste or what. but i wake up with an awful taste in my dry ass mouth, worse than regular morning breath stuff, whenever i brush before bed. oh well, i need to start. for my teeth's sake!!

i thought of instances all day today showing my laziness, and now that i am typing i am drawing a blank. but i am sure you get the idea. and it is embarrassing!

i just need to get my shit together in the new year, since apparently i'm not going to get any of those energy drugs i want. sigh!

have i mentioned how cute clay is lately? ha! i'm sure i have. i wish i could record him for you all. some of the stuff he says is just so darn cute!

the way he says m&m's.....sounds like emiknees, emiknees (M-small i sound-knees) oh and when he want something the NON-STOP and i mean over and over and over PEESE, PEESE, PEESE, PEESE (please). then if he wants candy or something he shouldn't be eating he will do the please, then he will say "UM"(one) and hold up 1 finger. cause i always tell him he can have just 1. so he thinks that he can have whatever he wants as long as it is only UM!

oh, and when he counts it is precious! one(um) is his index finger. 2(some strange sound) is his pinky finger and ring finger...using his other hand to hold down his middle finger and index finger. 3(thee)is pinky, ring and middle.....4(no) is 4 and 5 is 5. for some reason 7 and 10 are both "la-la" and all of the teen's are "teeteen"

and AH! i wish you could hear him say "w". it is something like "buh-buh", too cute. he knows all the alphabet, but when he is saying them on his own, he goes a,b,c,d,f,g,h,i,some varios/crazy letters,then v,w,x,y,z. it just amazes me that out of the blue he just starts with the numbers and letters. he will be in bed, and just start saying them. he was doing it in the car last night. WHY??? do they just all of a sudden pop into his brain? funny!! his says funny cute too. :)

one last cute thing i will leave you with....he tries to do the little piggies thing. he will be rattling something off while touching his toes, then get to the pinky toe and go "wee,wee,weeeeeeee". lord, god love children! they are so darling and sooooooooo entertaining!
