~6-22-04~ Addicting

you know what i am addicted to......closed captions.

we always have it on our tv, and i find myself reading my shows, instead of actually watching sometimes. when we rent movies, if they don't have captioning available, we are pissed.

it really becomes a habit if you use it.

and sesame street, is very bad with the captions. they miss half of what is being said, and then totally reword parts. what the hell?! that is supposed to be an educational show! so why are they leaving out parts of the "sketches" that are supposed to be there?! then some shows doesn't even have them. what's up with that?! it is 2004, all these shows now days should have them.

i was surprised that the dvd monster didn't have captioning available on the menu, but i turned them on, for our tv, and they popped up. so we were happy. we went to the movies a few times and i even asked bob, what are we going to do without any captions to read! haha!! i know we are queer!

sorry molly, that i am not more interesting, and that i am so boring......i'm just living up to my title at the top of the page. :)

we had a busy day/night tonight. when bob got home from work we headed out to the "mart". well, we stopped at lowes first, had to get some more flea shit, and a vacuum belt. then to the pet store, for some more flea shit....i got some cat nip scented bubbles, for the cat.....he could care less!

i returned all my previously mentioned swim suit stuff at walmart. $77 dollars worth!!!! their shit is real picked through now, i got a few other things, but after just trying them on, they will be going back as well. i'm just not meant to have a new swim suit this year. i should just give up. they are going to start not letting me return stuff anymore. so after getting $77 back what did i do?! went and spent $300 more! on what?! i have no clue. all i know is i went nuts with the bubble stuff. my child is fascinated with bubbles. i got this cute little gun at the dollar store that blows bubbles, but he just broke it the other day and has been spazzing since. so i wanted to get some good bubbles anyways, cause the generic ones just don't cut it! so i got this cool ass, or should i say big ass gun that blows bubbles, it was marked down to $5. i got some extra bubbles, then i also got those new things where the bubbles are spill proof...got a big one and a package of little ones. we also got clay this neat little easel. on one side is a chalk board and on the other is a magnent board/dry erase board. i think he will love it! i found a pool for him too, but there was no way it was fitting inside the jeep, so bob will probably go get it this weekend. what the hell else did we get. an air compressor, some food, didn't seem like much.....but it all sure adds up.....especially when you add 2 cartons of cigarettes on top of that.

we went to eat a ci ci's pizza. it is all a buffet, with a salad bar, some pasta, and different kinds of pizza and dessert pizza. it really isn't that bad. even as much as i went on in my previous post about being picky about my food.....for cheap pizza, i can actually eat it. they had VERY good alfredo sauce! and these cinnamon rolls they had....OMG!!!! heck, for $3.99 you can't beat it! we were stuffed walking out of there.

we didn't get home til after 9PM!!!!! that sure made the afternoon/evening go quickly. i'm beat now.

soooooo i should head to bed......quit laughing, it could happen!!
