~6-21-04~ BOOOORING!

god! sunday night tv is so awful!!!!

i'm watching damn QVC!!! does that show that there is absolutely nothing on! and of course, i'm half tempted to buy almost every damned thing they show!!! thank goodness my purse is upstairs and i am too lazy to go get it!

i don't even really use bath and body products, but fuck if i wasn't about to fork over $50 for some damn set they had on here!!!!

now i am watching some cooking stuff. that is one thing i DO do! so i am real tempted to get off my big butt an head for the credit card!

i don't know if i told ya'll that bob is on vacation next week. well he has planned for us to cook on the grill everynight for dinner. he even has a menu planned! he can be so cute sometimes! :) but of course I'M the one who will be doing the cooking!

i got this thing in the mail for omaha steaks. normally they are god awful expensive, and i honestly wonder who orders from these people to keep them in business, but in the mail off there was a pretty good sounding deal for about $60. i've pissed around so i don't know if it will get here by next week, not to mention i'm not sure where i put it now. we thought we might try it out.

now they are showing some marinade injector thing. i have always wanted to try one of those, but too cheap to spend the money on it....maybe someday.

speaking of grilling, sort of, there is a hog heaven opening up down the road. they have had the sign up forever and i am get anxious for them to open. i have heard they have very good ribs. i never was real into them, til like last year, bob went nuts and we have been cooking them. i love them! god, i really can't wait for the ribs burn off this year! i usually only get pulled pork sandwiches, but now i may have to try some ribs, even though they also, are WAY overpriced!!

well, dooney and bourke stuff is on now, and there is noooooo way in hell i would pay that price for some damn purse!!!! i don't care what all comes with it! unless there is $200 that comes with the purse, why would you spend $200 on a purse?!?!?!? WHY?!?!?! oh yeah, the whole status thing..."i own a dooney and bourke purse", well woo-hoo?! i never even heard of them before until my friend got one. i must admit that in last weeks people or us, they had some pics of new ones coming out and there were some that i thought were adorable,like THIS one, THIS one, and THESE are my faves. i had a brief thought of getting one, but then my intelligence kicked in and was like, fuck that! $200, that is a car payment! if anyone out there loves me though and have the extra dough, i'd love the CHARMS one!!! :)

oh well, guess i will just stick with my walmart purses! hehe!!

how was everyone's father's day? i felt bad for bob today, he had to work! and to top it off he had to go do windows after he got off of work. which was his own fault, he had all week to do them......he ended up getting off of "real" work early. so that was a bit better. clay and i went to eat with my family, took grandpa out. we went to papa bears. UGH! i am very picky about my italian food. i am italian, so...... i just don't see how these places stay in business! olive garden, they are AWFUL!!! the only good thing there are their bread sticks, soup, and alfredo. papa bears today, was just nasty. i got the stuffed shells, and didn't even eat 1. they only italian restaurant where i will actually eat their sauce is the spaghetti warehouse in akron. they have incredible food!!! if you go get the mannicotti!!!! other than that, the only sauce i will eat is my aunts, my own or mid's, if you haven't tried it, you must find it!!!

ok, i'm about to burn my meatloaf, hold on..............

yes, i'm cooking meatloaf at midnight!! i took out the hamburger last night and never used it, so i had to today. bob loves my meatloaf, so that was going to be his father's day dinner. since i ate none of my papa bear's, that was his supper. i still had to use the hamburger, so i went ahead and made it. i'm about to eat some too, since all i had for dinner was some chips and dip i just ate.

anyways....back to father's day. i got home about the same time bob did, so we took clay to the park. my child just wanted to run around and get into everything he shouldn't. i thought he would get a kick out of the geese. he wanted to chase them. we tried to feed them, but he kept eating the bread. then all he wanted to do was go in the creek. played on the swings for about a minute. wanted to run into the people playing tennis. so bob basically just chased him around while i video taped him and took pictures. then we went to the rootbeer stand and spent $7 on 2 rootbeers and a strawberry milkshake....WHAT?!?!?

oh well, i'm off to eat my meatloaf......night-night!
