~6-10-04~ Rain, Rain

well the rain came and it made a huge difference in the temperature! it is 20 degrees cooler now than it was this afternoon. 20 degrees!!!! that is a hell of a jump!

as i said in my earlier post, i'm not sure our whole ordeal yesterday was teething. he was fine today! a little warm, a few whines, but other than that normal!! so i don't know!!!

i am becoming a vacuuming freak!!!! i've read on several site that is a key factor in eliminating fleas. so i broke the friggin belt in our new friggin piece of crap $200 sweeper!!! i hate it. bob took it apart to see why it smelled like it was burning up, well the belt was broke cause a ton of shit was caught where the belt was.....what the hell?! no wonder it has been sucking, well NOT sucking lately!! so i dug out our old sweeper, very good, but old, an original phantom. well that sure didn't work, the reason we got the new one in the first place. so i am cussing causenow there is shit from both the broken ones all over my carpet. thankfully i had a little, old piece of crap in the garage, that molly and i used for our cleaning business. that little sucker worked like a charm!!!! except it smelled something awful!! it has a bag, and that bag has been in there and sitting for almost 2 years now! so that was unpleasant, but at least i got to vacuum up all the junk and hopefully a few billion fleas. i also sprayed the lighthouse room again, which seems to be the "main" infected area. i used almost the whole damn can of that stuff....the $20 stuff!! that didn't seem to do much last time!! well i coated the hell out of that carpet, so it better have done something! i may just have to take my butt back to petsmart and bitch!

maybe this is some huge cosmic sign that i have to start cleaning my house better and get rid of crap. i may try to get in the habit of sweeping everyday. and if we decide to go with the professional flea get rid of-ers, then we will have to do major cleaning and picking up. so my house may look like normal people's soon. not that it will stay that way mind you.
