~8-4-04~ New toy.

we got our new phones today, but of course it wasn't an easy transaction and now i am pissed!

i ordered on the link here, and then got an email saying i had to go to a t-mobile store to have my credit run, i think cause of my previous bankruptcy. great! so i had to go to the mall, belden, and i haven't been there forever. so i get everything taken care of and then the sales guy starts trying to sell me phones. i tell him about my deal online, he gets on and checks it out and says that the rebates i was going to get through a1 wireless were only valid if i had a rate plan over $69.99. well hell, i opted for the lower rate plan, so i wouldn't have qualified. so i was glad that he looked at that, and he matched all the accessories a1 was offering and i got the phones for $50 a piece with $50 rebates for each, so basically they were free.....on the a1 site, after rebates i was going to MAKE $100.

anyways, i just went to the a1 site, and when you originally go there it shows the $69.99 plan, but i you change it to the lower rate plan, it also changes the rebates, so i DID NOT have to have a plan over $69.99 to get the rebates! so i am pissed and i am really thinking about just taking them back tomorrow and just going ahead and getting them online like i originally planned.

the only thing i did notice on the a1 rebates is that is says if you port your old number to the new phones within 150-some days, you don't qualify for the rebate. i was planning on keeping my old number, but then again it isn't a big deal. i wanted to keep the same, just cause i have a zillion business cards with my current number. but it isn't like i actually use the cards, so what does it matter. only about 3 people even call my cell phone, soooooo. i actually like the new numbers we got cause mine is like 5912 and bob's is 5913.

so hell i don't know! once again, why can't shit just be simple for me?!?!?!

i would also like to mention again, how INCREDIBLE ci ci's pizza's cinnamon rolls are!! my heavens!!!!!!!!!!! i swear i could just eat those all night. and here i bitch about wanting to lose weight!!

so that was my night! it took forever!! as we were standing there bob said it was 8:30, i almost freaked. i was like, shit we ae missing big brother!!!! then i remembered that it wasn't on til 9, but we were missin gthe new episode of trading spouses. last week they replayed it later in the week, hopefully they'll do the same this week.

lucky for all of you, i didn't do a play by play of things i hate about you, this week. it was kind of boring and i was busy playing with my new phone, so i barely watched myself. in playing with my phone i have been on here all night, searching for cool ringtones, and mp3's, antenna's, keypads....all kinds of junk i don't need.....and now it is after 2AM, and i haven't even read any of my blogs yet. so, tonight you are also spared a recap of the other shows i did watch last night and tonight. if i'm not too lazy, maybe i'll go over them tomorrow, if i remember! haha! lucky you!
