~8-14-04~ Now WTF???
ok, i keep getting these damn pop ups! and all i am visiting is the blogs that i always go to!
i have run adaware about 5 times, deleted a bunch of programs i don't use, i don't know what else to do! it is driving me nuts!
for those of you who are new "readers", i again apologize for any misspellings. bloggers spell checker is not working for me for some reason. the grammer, capitalization, and such i don't apologize for, cause that is just me, so deal with it! hehe!!
so i watched the opening ceremonies for the olympics tonight. i didn't understand half of what was going on, thank goodness for those annoying "sportscasters". if it wasn't for them, i would have thought the greeks were really freaky and whoever came up with the "theme" this year was on some good drugs. but thanks to the script, it was mostly about the evolution of greece and i am assuming "creation" for that part, through future? (pregnant lady with a light up belly and the whole DNA strand thing i still thought was odd) i really liked how the peole on the "floats" looked like statues. that was very cool. and at the one part where they had the "fireworks" type things clay was going "boom" and then of course, started crying when they were all gone* hahahahahahaha!!!! ***see previous post on similar topic. i was watching on HDTV and aside from watching part of it that they already showed for a second time, and the same freaking commercial over and over and over and over and over and over, i just LOVED the different sites they showed throughout greece! how beautiful!!! some of the buildings look like the are the actual tops of mountains, it is incredible! i don't really have a desire to travel outside of the US, but one place i would like to see is greece!!
well channel 3 is now showing the damn thing all over again! sorry, once was enough to me! must mean it is time for bed!! night!
i really don't like the olympics. i just don't get into them. about all i watch is the gymnastics and diving, and the winter ones, not a thing. i just don't get the big hoo-haa about it all. but alas, i watched all 4 hours of it! and what do i do? i get all weepy while all the athletes are coming in! i am such a damn cry baby!! i just get all caught up in their excitement. hell i cried watching the world series (or some big baseball game) cause i was happy for those who won and also sad for those who didn't. i'm a mess i tell you. anyways, so i get all boo-hoo'y seeing how happy everyone is, and it is great that everyone from all these different countries and cultures can come together because of their love of what they do and the pride that they have representing their countries. its a bil ol' universal thing. which i guess is the point and why so many people go ape shit for the stuff! so hell, what else is there to do? it's not like there is going to be anything else on, well big brother for sure, so i may watch. i told bob we should start watching all of it. there are some events i never even knew of or even thought about. i mean i have heard of them, but never cared to watch to see what it is all about. like judo, or the tak kwan do, shooting, archery, water polo, equesterian things, and i am sure many more. so maybe i will become an olympic junkie, or just end up like before, who cares?!
i'll let ya know!

Hey, just thought I'd let you know, I had the same problem with popups and adware. Those adware removers don't do much. I found reinstalling windows did the trick, and it didn't take too long.
