~6-18-05~ Woo-hoo!!

my child slept in today til about 7am! yee-haw!! i was excited, even though i was still up on and off before that. this stupid thing i have in his bed kept going off. i don't know if he was actually doing it or was just bumping it, so i was still up! but it was nice not to be jumped on or elbowed to death until after 7am!!!


he didn't even go to bed til almost 10pm last night. we got home late, we were at a neighbor's. there was this little boy there, he was 4, oh my!!! those 2 were just running around and playing it was great!!!!!!!!!!! finally a boy for him to play with!!!!!!!! and they did just what clay always wants, he just wants to run and chase and be chased. little girls just don't get that. it was wonderful, i was so happy for him, he had such a good time. except then when we got home he was extremely tired, and whinny!!!!! but he finally slept somewhat good!


he and bob are at the store now. i was going to take bob to dinner tonight for father's day, mom said she would sit with clay, but he decided to do steaks on the grill, so he is out shopping for steaks and doughnuts.


hopefully when they get back we will go to the park, i'm really looking forward to that. aside from the money aspect, it is nice having bob home on a saturday. i know he was really looking forward to it. i don't even remember the last time he didn't work a saturday.


so i am dressed and ready to go, so now i am sitting here bored waiting for them!


also today i think we are getting a toddler bed from my cousin. i'm planning on bob going and getting that while i am TRYING to put clay down for a nap. i don't know if it will solve any of our sleeping problems or not, but we will see. and i am sure it is time anyways. i was hoping to wait til we moved, but god knows when that will be, so might as well get it out of the way now. i really wanted to put our full bed in there for him, but i had one in that room before (small room!) and it takes up almost the whole thing. so guess we will just go with the toddler bed. when we move i will use the full bed, that will save me $200 plus on this toddler bed set that i did want to get for him, damn is it CUTE!!!!!!


oh well, i guess i should go clean while i am waiting for them. this past week with the PRE-dawn waking hours and NO naps, my house is getting back to how it used to be. it has been over 3 weeks now and my house has stayed pristine! so i better get on it.
