~4-5-05~ WOW, I suck!!

i sure haven't been keeping up on this blog lately, have i?!

well good thing i was writing....now i have a story to tell....

i just had to stop mid thought cause all i heard was SCREATCH....BAMN....before i got to the window to see if someone had hit my car i heard GET OUT OF THE CAR AND ON THE GROUND!!!!

so of course i had to grab my cigarettes and run outside. i don't know what the hell happened, but a car hit a telephone poll. i don't know if he was being chased or what cause the cop was RIGHT there.

so a bunch of us nosey folks were out checking out all the excitement. i got all excited i heard the dog, so i thought they were going to search the car. they had the dog out, but didn't do a search. so i don't know the actual details of anything. i'll be checking out the paper and let you all know.

so now after all of that it is my bedtime, and i didn't even get to post anything.

what an end to an event filled day!!!

i had to call the poison control center today. felt like a WONDERFUL mother the whole time. i left the children's vitamins out cause i was going to start taking them again too....well needless to say, i forgot, and clay found them....no child proof cap!!!! i have no clue how many he ate, but he is only supposed to have a half of one a day. one of her questions was, was he left alone for a period and that is how he got them. YEAH, I DON'T WATCH WHAT MY KID DOES OR GETS INTO. i felt like an ass!!!! especially since he has been so bad lately about getting into EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

she said there wasn't any emergency unless he ate about 30 of them. he may only experience tummy ache, nausia, vomiting. the more i thought about it, i don't think he even ate the 10 or so i told her. he didn't have a mouthful of them when i caught him. he seem his usual, bad self all day. he did have an AWFUL diaper though, before bedtime!!!!!

bedtime was also a nightmare, but i think that was bob's fault. i've been having bob go check on him lately. well last night he wanted bob to get in bed and go "nite-nite" (lay down) with him. BOB DID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so tonight he wanted bob to do the same and i was all NO!!!!!!! and clay wasn't having any of that! so he threw a tantrum! he would not settle down for anything. when i finally did get him calm, as soon as i went to leave the room he would start up again. eventually i got him settled, it was bad. i hated seeing him so upset, i was so close to jumping in the damn crib with him to calm him!!!! poor little guy! i think he was just overly tired. he didn't get much of a nap today, like usual when i get him down they start beating on the side of the house that is HIS room!!!

yes, you heard that right! they were actually here working on my house today!!!!!!!

i have gotten quite a few boxes packed. you really can't tell though. they were mostly downstairs, where it really isn't that bad. upstairs is what is bad!


we went and looked at 6 houses sunday. like i knew i LOVED the house in waynesburg. the house wasn't ALL that. it is nice and old like i like it. a dentist owned it, so it was well kept, but i love the land!! it has 5 acres. it is kind of queer cause the acres are split up in long rectangles. so the back yard of the house, like maybe 50 feet out, is the property line, same with the front by the driveway!!!!! but then there are like 2 acres to either side. the other lots are for sale, and i think a reasonable price if i had the money to do all that. the house itself is $179,000. the lot behind the house is 5 acres for $35,000 and the lot in front is 11 acres for $54,000. i'm sure we won't get it, and i'm not real heartbroken about it. it just isn't all we want in a house (which i think for me is impossible!!!!)

the one i thought i loved in east sparta was just WAY too small, and the 2 acres again were all behind, and all DOWN hill. another was in east canton. it was an ok house, it was built in 1999. it had over 2 acres, wasn't that bad, but it was right on the corner of the "main" road. the bad thing about it was that it has baseboard heat! so no way to get central air, without spending MUCH money!!!!!

then we looked at 3 new ones in louisville. yes, the houses were beautiful, but there was NO yard!!!! even though they supposedly had twice the size of my lot, my yard looked much bigger!!!!

we are supposed to go wednesday to look at these in navarre 1, 2, 3. maybe we will have some luck there. i'm kind of holding out though till we get more "ready" to move here and at least have SOME interest in our house.

i keep telling myself the perfect house is out there, we just have to be patient. when it is time, we will find it!


i shouldn't jinx myself by saying this, but with this stupid time change clay has been getting up late!!! almost 9 am!!! which granted it is his normal time of 8, but that sets everything else off. i didn't put him down for his nap today til 2, which went great til the banging! sunday he didn't take a nap at all. he was in bed for about 15-20 min, wouldn't go to sleep, then he was looking out the window and seen my mom's car pull up, so it was all MA-MA, MA-MA, MA-MA....so i knew he wasn't sleeping! plus she was wathcing him so i didn't have to deal with a sleepy kid! ha! i'm so mean!

guess we will see how tomorrow goes. they still aren't done with the spouting, so hopefully they will get here early and get it done before nap time.

well i have to get to bed, i have been doing so good lately. usually in bed, lights out by 12:30.
