~1-10-05~ Well, HELL!!

just let me start by saying, i know there are people out there who have it worse than i do! i know i am blessed in many ways, and should be thankful for what i have.

lately i have been feeling bad about bitching, whining, and complaining about things, but damn, i HAVE to!!!!


i started out the day semi-happy. bob remembered to bring the sweeper downstairs this morning, he remembered to take the mail with him to send out. then the people came and started working on the house. GREAT!! i called bob to let him know. he called me back and proceeded to tell me, that when i had a second i should go down in the basement and clear out the freezer, cause it is not working and everything in there is ruined!! WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

so now i am WAY pissed! if you all knew how much food i had in there, and by food i mean mostly MEAT, you would be clear sick. i sure am!!!!!!!!!

here is what pisses me off. when the cable lady came the other day, she checked the booster thing i had and said it wasn't working. it was plugged into the same outlet as my freezer. she said the freezer wasn't working. i opened the freezer, every thing was frozen solid. i thought she just thought that cause the light didn't come on when you opened the fridge, but it doesn't. she checked the breaker for the outlet and everything was fine. she then figured out that the booster was bad. ok, no problem. and i forgot about everything else.

well, i guess she was right and my fridge is NOT working!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell. my breakers are fine. can a whole damn outlet just go bad?!?! i should not ask that, cause my luck, and my house, why YES it can!!!

i just checked back in my blog. thank goodness for the blog, or i would have no clue, but she was here on the 6th. and the food was still frozen. so now it has been about 4 days. i went to throw everything out. it is NOT frozen, but it is still kind of cool, and that is the stuff on top, i don't know about stuff that is buried. so now i have a dilemma. should i still go ahead and throw everything out??

i know you are all probably saying YES, but do you understand how much food i have down there!!! i'm talking probably at least $100!!!! i mean if everything in there was warm, i would have no question. the stuff on the door compartment, i will for sure, but the stuff that is actually still somewhat cool.........i don't know. i may have to have a cook session and cook everything and then re freeze it! i have most everything wrapped pretty good. wax paper, then foil, and then most bagged up in plastic bags.

i don't want to poison my family, but i also don't want to waste all that food. especially when we have like NO money this week for new food!!

i can't even nap, so i don't have to think about it damn it!! and of course i couldn't get to sleep last night, so i am butt tired! there is NO way clay is going to nap, it sounds like these guys are about to come through the walls....i had to go around and take everything off the walls, cause some of it was falling off. that is how loud it is!!! but i am really NOT complaining about that, cause, as you know, i want it done!!!!

oh well, i better get back downstairs. grandpa just got here, and i always trap him down there with clay so i can come smoke. then i feel guilty, but he doesn't pay attention to me anyways!! :)

i guess i just got on here for a "poor me"! actually just to vent, cause i am soooooo pissed off!!!
