~7-26-04~ Will miss you!

i just found out today that my fathers best friend passed away june 29th. 

i'm so saddened by this!  after my father passed away, i know he took it hard.  almost as hard as i did, so i felt a special connection with him.  he was a super great guy!!!!  very kind and loving!!!!  i am so regretful that i did not keep in better touch with him over the years!

i did get to see him last year, for clay's 1st birthday.  he stopped over with gifts.  he didn't need to do that!  i just wanted to see him and introduce him to clay.  it was so great to see him.  i got a christmas card from him and he promised to come and visit us, unfortunately it never happened!!

the only comfort i can get out of this situation is that now he and my dad can once again hang out together!

i'll miss you kenny!  you were a very special man!!!!
