~7-2-04~ I'm back

ok.........so let's see what all we did this week.

monday was the whole dentist thing, i think i told you all about that ordeal.

i also got my hair and nails done, i don't think i told you all of that disaster!!!!!!! i admit it. i am a very, very, very cheap person. i usually get my hair done at the beauty school. well, i vow that i will never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever be that cheap again!!!!! and me being the overly nice person that i am, can't bitch and tell these people to get a new profession because they suck!!!! so i just smile, tell them i love it, tip them, leave, and come home and bitch to everyone. my hair isn't that awfully bad. not what i wanted, but i don't really do it up anyways, so no biggie. well i got my nails done. that was a semi-first on that one. the only other thing i had done on that level was i had the girl put a new nail on once and i swear it fell off a few days later. well this little girl was cute, had cute nails, i was all confident. wow, was i wrong!!!!!!! this girl destroyed my nails. and how can you not tell that nails are not even?! you are staring at them doing them for an hour!!!!! to make it worse the teacher came over and raved about how good they looked....WHAT?!?! whatever. i swear, noone, and i am sorry, i should say no one that i have ever been to can do nails aside from the chineese people......sorry, oriental, whatever they are you know. i'm not dissing them, i'm praising them. how can they be so awesome at it and everyone else suck?! and then every american person is all bicker-bicker about them. like they are so awful and don't do it right, blah, blah, blah........well at least it looks good!!!! i don't care if you are putting dental adhesive on my nails, i don't care if you paint them with car paint. who cares, they look awesome!!! but alas, i am a cheap ass, so i don't go to them any longer. i go to this girl down the road. she isn't the greatest, and after the whole beauty school thing, i won't bitch about her anymore. even better she is cheap! she charges $16 for a fill, which is unheard of, and only $20 for a whole new set!! i usually always give her $20 for a fill. i don't know how in the world you are supposed to tip those people. anyways, next time i get my hair done, i may have to go to fiesta or some other "cheaper" place, just not the cheapest. i refuse to pay $100 to get my hair done. my friend just did that and all she got done was a cut and color. at the beauty school for a cut and color i pay at the most like $30! oh well........i guess it all grows back, and i don't ever leave the house for anyone to see them, so who cares!!

so that was all monday.

tuesday was the zoo. don't know if i told you all about that or not. my kid was totally NOT into it at all!!!! at one point we were in this "petting zoo" type area with goats running around. my kid didn't even pay no mind to them at all. he was running around trying to pick up sticks and leaves!! didn't care about the goats, monkeys, elephants, birds.....nothing!!! the only thing he attempted to interact with was the butterflies, which i knew he would enjoy, and i tell you what, after the butterfly place in niagara falls, this was awful! i saw about 2 butterflies! then again we were only allowed in there for about 5 minutes cause they were losing!!! which leads me to my other bitch. it closed at 5 pm, the whole zoo!! what the hell?! i totally misread the website. i thought it read summer and weekend hours, open til 7 pm. here it was summer weekend hours. so there was a ton we didn't even get to see, which i was a little disappointed, but hell my kid wasn't into it anyways, so........

wednesday, i don't think we did a damn thing....funny it was just yesterday and i can't remember!! oh i know, i took my car to get fixed. here the bumper was rubbing against something and that is what was making the god awful noise whenever i turned. so that was only about $40 so that was good. afterwards i went and got my spray tan thing. that is just hoopy! like it isn't bad enough standing there naked while some lady air brushes you, since i already have some tan, it doesn't even look like it did anything! my whole middle section still looks white as a ghost compared to my arms, chest, legs and face!! oh well, it is already paid for i guess i better use them.

today we went and spent more money. since i finally found bathing suits that fit, along with some shorts, i took back all the latest clothes i bought from walmart. those people must think i am nuts! every week so far i have been taking back like $80 worth of stuff!! oh well, at least i got some cash in my purse for today. went and spent more at some other stores. it is just amazing how it all adds up!!!!

i finally got a new shop vac. i also decided i wanted a cordless drill. since my hubby doesn't do anything fix it wise around here, i wanted to get something nice that i can use to do shit. so we got some little combo kit. he was already playing with it, so it should be no time at all that he is missing pieces parts from it when i got to do something. we also got a new post for our fence. now we can finally get rid of one hillbilly aspect of our yard, the bricks that are holding the gate closed now. but, we will see how long it takes hubby to actually get the post up.

then we were off to the baby store, better known as babies r us. i wanted to get a new car seat, cause i am tired of having to switch the one we have between cars. so clay got a laid out new car seat. i also finally found those damn bath crayons that i have been searching for. i also found out today that my child is a chicken shit. he is soooooo not like normal little kids!! just like above, he could care less about animals.....he was all amazed by the little rides they had in the store, so we put him on one.....as soon as that thing started moving he had enough of it!!! then he wanted on the other one, i put him on he was playing, no sooner did i get the coin it, it moved, and he was out!!! that all made one little girl there happy, cause she got to ride 2 rides for free!! so now i am kind of glad that i didn't take him to the fair a few weeks back, cause i don't think he would have been into it the least bit. the italian festival is coming up next weekend, so we will see then. if i even get to go!!!

here that is the weekend i am getting my eye surgery. my surgery is friday, so i can't go that night. they said saturday i should be able to drive myself back in for my check up, so maybe we can head out there saturday. my friends step mom had it done and the way she talked she was in serious pain for days!!!!! hopefully that is not the case for me.

one other bitch about the zoo.............they have designated smoking sections!!!!! what the hell, we are outside!!!! so that was stupid walking all over to find a damn smoking section! we saw other people walking around smoking anywhere, but i knew we would be the ones to get yelled out, and i didn't want to fight about my rights with people, so we didn't.

tomorrow we may go to amish country. i am in desperate need for my candles!!!!!!!!!!! so we will see in the AM how it goes. i'm also craving a black raspberry pie from the amish door.

we have actually stuck to bob's whole grill schedule for all week. last night we had lamb. it wasn't bad at all. tonight we had hamburgers. we actually splurged and got the "good" hamburger from the butcher. i don't much like it. it doesn't taste like hamburger! give me the full fat shit, it has a much better taste! he drove all the way into minerva (40 minutes) to get some choice steaks. he wanted "prime" meat, but that is hard to find around here. he got 2 strips and 2 fillets, but that is for the 1st annual ewell surf and turf night, which is sunday i think...or saturday. you'd think i could remember as much as he has went on and on about it. and YES, he truly did name it, and calls it by name.... "The 1st annual Ewell surf and turf extravaganza". we are having the steaks, lobster (for him, i don't like it) and jumbo shrimp for me, i may even get a small salmon fillet. i'm eve going to make a special dessert on the grill. by the way the whole meal is going to be made on the grill, that is mandatory. so i found a few that sound great, here they are: honeysuckle pineapple, banana boats, banana treats, and grilled pineapple and bananas. there were a couple more, but i think they are saved on the computer upstairs. so i will see what i can come up with.

tomorrow we may head down to the pizza challenge downtown. you know what i just read the site and it says it was wednesday and thursday. i swear it is thursday and friday!! i sure didn't hear fireworks tonight, so it couldn't have been tonight!! i'll have to check out the canton rep. to see what i can find out. i just did a search and clevescene says it is july 7-8!! what the hell?! ok, i'm an idiot!!! i just reread the official site and they too have it listed as the 7-8. so that means next week, which figures, same week as the italian festival and bob is on damned afternoons!!!!!! guess we will go for lunch one day. well that sucks! good thing we didn't just head down there tomorrow! haha!! ok, i LOVE this site!! i just found a ton of stuff going on around here that i want to check out!

speaking of fireworks, for some reason our city here, doesn't have fireworks on the actual 4th. it is usually the thursday before the 4th. i asked bob about it last night, and of course he knew less than i did. so oh well. i looked by our house, usually when it is going on there are cars up and down our road. no cars, oh well....so i put clay to sleep, not even 5 minutes later BOOM, BOOM, BOOM. i was like GREAT!!!! as much as i am a freak for fireworks, here i am bitching that they are going to wake up clay!! haha!! then i felt guilty that he was missing them. he sort of got into them last year. half of me was hoping he would get up, so i could go get him, but that little turkey didn't even get up!!!!! and of course the grand finale had about 150 of those big boomer ones. he slept through every last one!!
