~6-25-04~ The countdown begins....to returning as video game nerds

well about 19 hours to go til bob's vacation starts. he is working 14 hours tomorrow.

hhmmmm.......wonder if he is going to drive me insane for the next 9 days?! i doubt it! i know you all hear me bitch about him alot, but we actually do get along well together, and even enjoy each others company.

he actually said that while he is off he will get up with clay and let me sleep in. woo-hoo!! i don't know if i will actually hold him to that promise or not. i mean it is his vacation, i'm not going to make the poor guy get up with clay everyday at 9AM. there may be a few days i do take advantage though! i'm just excited for us to do family stuff!!

blockbuster has a new deal going where you pay $50 and for 3 months you can have unlimited game rentals! i am sooooo psyched for that! i was originally going to join that game pass thing they had for $20 a month or something, but you could only have 1 game out at a time, what the hell?! so this $50 thing should be sweet!!!!

HOLD THE PHONE!! i just read the terms and conditions for the blockbuster thing, and it is the same as the monthly thing! only 1 game at a time! what the fuck! oh i am just saving $10 by buying the special 3 month thing. screw you blockbuster, how flippin stupid!! oh, i'm sure i'm still going to get it...i just have to do the math and figure if it will be worth it. just like netflix......did i already tell ya'll how much i LOVE netflix!!!! now if i just remember to send the damn things back, to make it worth my $$.

HOLD THE PHONE AGAIN!! i just read the terms and conditions for the $20 game pass and it says certain stores may have different numbers of games allowed out at one time! well hell, now i'm gonna have to call and see what the one here allows out at one time. so much work!!!! but i am feinding for some video games! it is pretty funny, because i don't even really actually play the games. i just tell bob what to do. i mean we will sit for hours playing damn games! they are so addictive. as soon as you make it through one level, you just have to try for the next. and then alot of these games now, you can't just save when you want, you have to make your way to a save point. yes, i'm queer, i know it! but we have fun.......fight alot as well, but we have fun. yes, we fight about games! well damn, why doesn't he listen to me when i tell him a damn zombie is coming and to get the hell out of there.....he turns around and runs right into it, losing almost all his lifeforce.......AGH!!!!! who wouldn't fight about that?! the last game we played was manhunt, and boy was it great! it was really different cause you didn't have guns or anything to fight/protect yourself with. so you had to sneak up on the bad guys, and depending on how long you wanted to sneak behind them (how brave you were) you could kill them in different ways, and you get more "stars" for the longer you waited to finally do the deed. it was real tense! i know you all are laughing at me! haha!! bob and i enjoy it, so that is all that matters. my favorite all time is still resident evil 2. that was like our first real long game. well, no oddworld was, which is awesome, but that wasn't a real shoot em up, scary, getting chased kind of game.

anyways before i keep going on and on about games, i'll just tell you we are planning on getting driver 3, splinter cell (the first one), kill switch, hitman (the first one), and i am sure there are more.......

one last note, i do play some games myself, but that running and shooting up stuff kind of gets to me. i did kick ass i must say on ratchet and clank, 1 and 2. I DID IT ALL MYSELF, EVEN WITH NO WALKTRHOUGH! i was proud! the rest i leave for bob, that way we both get to enjoy it, i get to order him around like usual, and he doesn't listen, like usual.......so we are happy! haha!!
