he is just sooooooo cute!

i don't know if i wrote to tell you all how smart he was by knowing where all the letters go on his foam puzzle. the letters pop out and you put them back in. well he can pick up a letter and put it back in the correct spot. i was pretty amazed! i don't know if that is your normal 20mth old stuff? especially since the doc. is all concerned that he doesn't really "talk" yet.

well recently i've noticed that he knows the letter "o", "y", and "e". he will pick up his magnet letter or the foam letter from above and say the letter. he also knows "m", but for that he just does the sound mmmmmmm, which i guess the above letters names are also their sounds, well you know what i mean!!

he is totally addicted with learning stuff. his letter magnets he plays with forever. when he finally does give that up he will get that foam thing and drive you nuts with it, so much so that you will have to end up hiding it or you will be putting letters in and taking them out all night. he also has this neat little "book" type thing that has all the letters, numbers and colors. it also has pictures to go with them all. that child will sit with that too and make you go over and over and over with it.

so far he does "say" mom, ma-ma, no, ball, apple, flower (la-la), kitty cat, fishes....he sometimes "woofs" for the dog, "whoo's" for the owl, "growl's" for the lions, somewhat snorts for the pig, and does some crazy clicking of his tongue for the duck. he also say va-va, meaning vroom, vroom for cars/trucks. so i am not too worried about his lack of "words". just anxious. he does go on and on saying something all day. just babbles away!! i keep telling him to speak english so i can understand him. i'm sure it will just be matter of time, then he won't ever shut up! haha.

he is just so cute! i can't believe that he is going to be 2 in like 3 months!!!! i was arguing with my mom in the clothes store the other day telling her to get 18mth clothes and not 24 mths......it just dawned on me last night that he is almost 24mths!!! what the hell was i thinking?!
