~10-4-04~ My Weekend + today

i hope all of your weekends were better than mine. it started pretty shitty. my mom came over saturday after clay's nap. she was going to watch him while bob and i went to eat and run some.

firstly clay did NOT take a nap that day. i don't know what the hell that was all about?!

anyways we get ready to leave and i ask bob where my coat was that was in his car. he said he took it out and put in it the garage. so he goes and gets it and it is covered in dust/dirt/cob webs/just general garage shit. well FUCK, why would you just throw my jacket in the garage, apparently on the floor?!?!?! so i bitched, and then he got pissed. then he kicked into baby mode, i'm not going anywhere with you. well i told him to get his ass down so we could go, we had a lot of stuff to do. he kept crying, so fuck him, i left!! YES, i went to eat supper BY MYSELF. and i was pretty pissed about it too. we were supposed to go to red lobster, but i went to the chinese buffet. i almost went to red lobster myself just to spite his dumb ass, but i wanted chinese, so i went where i wanted. i was still pissed, so needless to say i didn't eat much. so then i wasn't in a hurry to get home, he wasn't going to ruin my whole night. so i then went and got my nails done. which i guessed it turned out pretty good, cause they needed done badly. and if he would have came, i wouldn't have got them done.

so then i got home, and he was back to normal bob. we ended up watching ALL 3 movies that we had here. first we watched walking tall, then ladykillers, finally, laws of attraction.

walking tall was ok. bob said the original was way better. i enjoyed watching the rock, cause he is just hot, but other than that the movie was just so-so. it has been so long since i have rated movies here, i don't remember my scale. i think it is out of 5 stars. well this movie would get a 3.

onto ladykillers. i was so, so hopeful for this movie. afterall it was made by the brothers who made one of my favorite movies, o brother where art thou. um, NO. they must have blown all their funny talent on that movie cause this had almost none! i give it 1 star!!

the last movie, laws of attraction, was you usual love story. it was cute, and funny and i enjoyed it. i give it 3 stars.

on to sunday. so since bob didn't get to go out to eat the previous day he was all gung ho on going sunday. so after clay's nap we headed out. it was ok. like usual we spend way, WAY too much money when we go to those expensive places, and never really enjoy it. well he got that out of his system, so we won't have to be going there for another couple of years. how in the hell do you spend $70 on dinner?!

we had to rush home for extreme makeover-home. i know i say it every sunday, but i just LOVE that show!!! it just fills my heart!!!

then i watched the new show, desperate housewives. i didn't know it was going to be all "involved". what the hell is the big secret that led that lady to kill herself, and what is the dad burying in the swimming pool?!?! i don't know about this one folks. anyways, since we went through all our netflix the previous night, bob went to the video store and got mean girls. it was pretty funny! i give it 4 stars!

that was my fun filled weekend!! thank goodness it ended better than it started.

today wasn't too bad. my child has been getting up around 7AM. WHY?!?! i don't know if it was due to bob working days last week and this week. but it sure SUCKS!!!! at least he napped the past 2 days, i was praying that saturday wasn't a sign of something to come.

like i said a million times here already, he is just lucky he is so damn cute!! he has been a pill lately. he is in a throwing kick. yelling and smacking doesn't work. so i started to do a semi time out thing. i pick him up and don't let him down for about 30 seconds, and i calmly tell him that throwing is bad, and a no-no. i don't think he is getting it!! he has also started on trying to hit or kick when he is mad. and you can't really spank for that can you?! i mean how can you tell him not to hit by hitting him?!?! i mean he is just too young to get it right now. he is in for a big surprise when he gets older. my mother sure didn't hesitate to get her hands flying!!! hands, slippers, wooden spoons.....etc. mind you i was NOT beaten or abused! i was taught to respect and "fear" my mother. i didn't hate her, wasn't scared at the sight of her. i just learned what was right and wrong. i knew what would bring about her wrath, and i avoided that. THAT is what is missing in today's youth!
