~5-25-04~ I'm Lost

why does it seem i am at a loss for things to write about now that most of my shows are over for the season.

guess it is summer time that makes me realize i have no life! haha!!

my mother screwed up my show, american idol, tonight! i told her since she was here i would tape AI, and we could watch what she wants. so in doing, my cable box is on what i am taping and we use the tv remote to watch something. so after a bit i went outside to smoke, then up to get clay's bed ready for night-night** then back down. she left shortly after that. so i put clay down, went outside for a bit, got this puter set up, by that time it was about 9, so i go to shut off the vcr and see that the cable box is on 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! AI is on 8!!!!!!!!!! so i called her and asked if she changed channels while i was outside. she was like i tried, but nothing happened. well yes something did happen!! you screwed up the show i was taping!!!!!!!! AGH!!!!!!!!!!! this lady has no concept of technology!!!! you should see how long it actually took her to figure out how to change channels and use the volume. i should have NEVER taught her! so i probably only got 1/2 of it on tape.

**the night-night issue is driving me nuts. all of a sudden now, my child freaks when it is nap time or bed time. he was NEVER like that before. now soon as he knows it is that time, he starts crying. then when i pick him up to rock him, we sit and rock for 5-10 min, he screams like i am killing him. even after i take him up, i put him down and he is right back up screaming as i walk out the door. but then he is out like 5-10 min later!!! i hate the fight!! guess i shouldn't bitch, at least he ends up going to sleep. and sleeps 2 hours+ for naps, and he sleeps through the night. so, oh well!

as i keep saying, thank god that big brother is going to be on 3 nights a week! i just found out that queer eye for the straight guy is new too! woo-hoo!!

since my whole window fiasco last sunday, i missed the season finale of extreme home makeover!!!!!!! for the past few weeks they have been showing repeats on thursdays, so this thursday??? NO!!!! fricking matlock!!!!!!!!!!!! what the hell is that?!?!?!?!?!?

so trish from the bachelor was on jimmy kimmel last night, love her!!!! ihope she is the next bachelorette. they hinted around to it and she said it was a rumor. fingers crossed!

howard stern is so damn funny!!! if i were up early enough i the mornings i would listen! i hate that his show is only 1/2 hour on e! beetlejuice is on now and i cannot understand half of what that dude says!!! the other night that did their hollyweird squares. beetle juices question was what are the white things in your mouth that you chew your food with. his answer.........food. they even asked him again later, and he still said food!! haha! it is so amazing the people that he finds for his show!
