~11-15-04~ Weekend movies

mom and i watched connie and carla. it was ok, a few laughs.

then bob and i watched shrek 2. are him and i the only ones disappointed with that movie?!!!!? with all the hoopla about it, i was expecting a 100 times better movie than the first. hell, not even close!!!!!!

i love, love, love the first shrek. i bought the dvd, i have seen it many, many, many times, and i'd love to see it again. this 2nd one, i don't care if i do see it again and definitely won't be buying it. don't get me wrong the animation/effects were INCREDIBLE, but i didn't find the story very funny, amusing or entertaining. we had a few laughs here and there, but they were sort of more smiles, than actual belly laughs (which 1 is filled with!)

so i guess both movies i am going to give 3 out of 5 stars. very disappointed with both!!!
