well, we went and seen dawn of the dead today. it was TERRIBLE!!!!! believe it or not, i was not even comparing it against the original. i know better than to do that. most are never even close to the original.

like i posted earlier. i just love zombie movies. and to sound really gross, i was anticipating much blood and gore, which there was actually VERY LITTLE of!! there was more in the original night of the living dead, which was black and white and made before i was even born!!! this being 2004 and the way movies and such are, i was expecting a lot of gross stuff. NO!!

then the "action" sequences, ugh, since the zombies are fast now, which makes it scary, were real shaky and they just tried to make things look more fast and, i can't even describe it, but it just all looked blurry to me! half the time i couldn't tell what the hell was going on. that part may be better on dvd, but still won't make the movie better. it just pisses me off that they had so much potential (which many movies do) and then they blow it!!!! they didn't even have any parts that made you jump! what kind of scary movie, doesn't have any parts like that?!

i just hope that the original is not compared to this piece of crap. and if you have seen it and enjoyed it, watch the original! come to think of it in this one you really didn't get to "see" the zombies. even the special effects make-up was better in the original.

oh well i will quit bitching now!
